South 47 Farm in Redmond
Suzette & I took Madeleine to the South 47 Farm in Redmond for "Farm Tots"! We all had a lot of fun! Madeleine got to wander through the garden, sing a song, do a craft, feed a llama & a goat, and go on tractor ride! The thing she liked best was feeling the dried beans they had during craft time. She liked them so much that I bought some at the store to play with at home!
Playing with the dried beans - who knew that this would excite her so much!!

Happy 4th of July!
We've had an eventful 4th of July this year! After seeing my new niece at the hospital, I raced home to get Madeleine ready for her 1st parade! Jeff decorated her little car and we headed up to town to meet friends and walk in the parade! Afterwards we went to the festival and had a great time!

Katherine Irene has arrived!!!!!
My niece, Katherine Irene, was born early this morning! She weighed 8lbs, 3oz and is 20 inches long.
The birth was like a movie. Sharyn woke up at 2:45 and told my brother it was time to go. It hurt so bad that she wanted to push. When they got to the hospital about 20 minutes later, she was at 11cm!!! They got her into a room right away and she pushed her out! It was literally that quick. QUITE A DIFFERENT STORY FROM MY BIRTH!
I wasn't there for the birth but my parents left when my brother called them and told them they were leaving the house. By the time they got there, my brother was running down the hall screaming "she was already born"! All the nurses told him to be quiet since it was around 3am!
Sharyn and my brother and very excited! Katherine is healthy and already has shown us the power of her lungs! ;-) Sharyn and my brother are feeling good too!

In-laws In Town = Date Night!!!
Bainbridge Island for Brunch!
We headed over to Bainbridge Island today for Brunch! We had a great time. The weather is beautiful again today and the breeze off the water felt so nice. We all enjoyed the views of Seattle, sailboats and the mountains on the way over. Madeleine had a blast walking around the ferry and even met a new friend named "Leo". Leo was a very, very sweet little boy who shared his crackers with Madeleine. He even fed them to her! TOO CUTE!
